Playboy has posted an excerpt of my Playboy Interview with Lamar Odom from the LA Lakers that appears in this month's issue of Playboy. Weird note: We did the bulk of the interview in the conference room at Playboy's office. The windows face Santa Monica Blvd and while we were talking a tall, black man walked by and looked in the window. He recognized Lamar and turned around to enter the Playboy building. He spoke to the receptionist for a second and then headed towards us. Lamar had his back to him and the man put one finger to his lips to give me the shhhhhhh sign. I didn't know if he was a friend of Lamar's or someone sent to assassinate him. He grabbed Lamar from behind in a bear hug and they both started laughing. That's when I realized who the man was: Ron Artest. Also, Lamar put away a bag of jelly rings and few chocolate bars during our interview. Dude loves sweets.
